Ms. Joy Robin Gibson

Joy Robin Gibson, the daughter of Mamie Gibson and late Guilermo Gale, was born on Febuary 14, 1966 in Brooklyn New York. 

She attended public schools in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn until she became of age.  In 1991, she relocated to South Carolina where she enrolled in a special needs program in Manning, South Carolina.  She spent her life as a companion to her mother and everyone in her presence.

Joy was a loving and even tempered person.  She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and especially eating.  She was pleasant, easy going, and a joy to be around.  She has been a blessing from God and has favored us with her presence.  She was called home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2023.

She leaves to mourn:  Her loving mother, Mamie Gibson; three uncles, Kamau Gibson (Edenau), Joseph Gibson, Tallie Gibson (Debra); one aunt, Julia Gibson; one brother, William Gale; several cousins, family, and friends.
